Becoming a Premium Partner in the Alltel Partner Program has never been easier. Once you have decided that your solution belongs in the Alltel Solution Catalog and the Joint Marketing Agreement or Preferred Supplier Agreement is in place, you automatically become a premium partner.
Alltel offers two kinds of Premium Partnership:

- Business Solution Partner
Application Partner
Application Partners receive customized support to bring their application to market, including testing, sales, and marketing in our Alltel Mobile Software Solutions website.
Application Partners enjoy all the benefits of registered members plus these additional benefits:

- Dedicated Alltel Marketing resource (Alltel Champion)

- Marketing Assistance

The Alltel Partner program also provides assistance to partners working to get applications certified on devices and modules on the Alltel network. Your dedicated Alltel Marketing resource will help you navigate the internal processes and procedures necessary to launch your application to Alltel Small, Medium, and Enterprise customers.
The goal of the program is to launch the best suite of applications to Alltel's Small, Medium, and Enterprise customer base. With dedicated support, solution marketing opportunities and catalog listing, Alltel is positioned best to assist you in developing and delivering your application to market.

Business Solution Partner
Alltel helps Business Solutions Partners (BSP) get their mobile business solutions to market. BSPs receive wireless network infrastructure for mobile business solutions. Partner companies can tap into the power of the nationwide Alltel wireless data network for their vertical B2B market data solutions.
BSP can also leverage the power of the Alltel business sales team to reach businesses and generate leads. Services that can benefit from partnering with Alltel include mobile resource tracking, utility meter reading, and telemetry applications.
Access to the Alltel National Data Footprint is provided to partners for resale at wholesale rates. BSP Partners can self-provision via an easy-to-use online activation system, and dedicated Help Desk and Tech support is included.
After you have completed the online application for Premium Partnership as a Business Solution Partner, you will be find, on the confirmation page, a secondary application that you should download, complete and return to us. After the secondary application is submitted, the following steps outline the process Alltel follows to partner with you:
- The Business Solution Partner will provide Alltel with the device's technical specifications sheet(s) including what module, module firmware version, Alltel PRI and Alltel PRL version the device uses.
- Alltel will review the technical specifications and determine if further testing is required.
- If no further testing is required, Alltel will then send the Business Solution Partner a letter stating that the device is approved for use on the Alltel network providing it uses the latest Alltel PRI and PRL.
- If further testing is required, Alltel will provide the Business Solution Partner additional documentation outlining requirements for new modules and devices as well as the testing process.
The BSP program also provides assistance to partners working to get devices and modules certified on the Alltel network.
